Summary (No Spoils):
Emily and Sloane are best friends. Emily doesn’t have any other friends than Sloane, and not in the “I am lonely” sense, she just doesn’t need any other friends.
One summer, right at the beginning of summer, but, she sends Emily a list. The list is filled with things that

are inside jokes, her conquering her fears, and just plain old fun things. Emily has to complete this list before summer ends.
While completing her first task, she meets Frank and his friend. Her summer is now filled with odd things like Apple Picking at night all the way to Skinny Dipping (don’t worry absolutely no detail there)
What will her school year be like after this?
Why * * * * * :
I gave Since You’ve Been Gone five stars because, it was different. i have never read anything like it before, and it was really hard coming up with a summary without spoilers because it was so detailed.
This whole book is about conquering her fears, her fears of not having Sloane in her life, of horses, and just plain old anxiety.
This book actually inspired me and my best friend, since I read it at the beginning of summer, I DM’ed my friend and we decided to make summer bucket lists for each other. Our plan falled out, though we are still doing some of the things. This book also helped me, amongst other things, with expressing myself more.
This book was amazing, I recommend it to everyone.
